Antique pine box in good condition for its age. The middle photo above shows the back of it and that the plinth extends around all four sides - some customers who want one as a coffee table look for this feature. Just over 35"W x approx 18"H x 17 and 3/4D inclusive of plinth. A little lighter and more "yellow" pine than perhaps seems in the photo above.
REF SEPFR £sold
Oak and metal-banded silver trunk - Elkington & Co, well known silversmiths of Regent Street, London. Just over 22" high x 21" depth back to front x approx 34" wide including handles. The black "paint" on the banding is a bit worn in places as is the internal paper and baize (it would have had trays originally) but overall in far superior condition than the average one of this type. Chunky metal carrying handles - it needs them as it is a heavy box. See photos below of Elkington label/lock.
REF SMSC £sold

Victorian pine metal-bound trunk. It is unusual to find this type made from pine. 25 and 1/2"H x 20"D x 31"W ( 33"W including handles). It has a lined tray inside that lifts out to reveal more storage beneath. The condition is generally excellent - metal binding is a slightly worn black colour rather than shiny black. Interior and material has slight wear but generally very good.

The pine tray is original but without the baize. Solid brass nameplate "Hon. Cecil Brownlow"(Earl of Exeter ?) .
